I'm not sure exactly what Terry C is requesting, but in any case, I can't see a way to clear the trace console without stopping/restarting FF - very clumsy. So, a Clear button like for the regular FF console would be great.

01. Your product is very well engineered. At the present time, you are probably aware that many people are having difficulty getting trace output if they are using the most current Flex, AIR and Flash Player. Since most of the resports are from people working with Flash Builder and I am just a command-line SDK guy, I don't think I have been able to help them with my suggestions, but perhaps someone here will be helped. The trick, for me, when getting hit with error #3013 when I am trying to clear is to re-start Firefox. While that is annoying, with the right add-on, it is pretty painless and at least FF does manage to restore all the open instances to the correct locations.02. But, that is a segue to my request for your next release -- please let me have an option that says when I hit Clear, I really mean to clear, and do not need your 'protective' confirmation popup. Add that to your already nice configurable options and I will contribute $10. [When I am most productive, getting the maximum number of compile/test/trace sessions per hour using the incremental compiler, I can often hit your Clear button several dozen times per hour; if you will make it a single click instead of the two it costs me with confirmation, I'll get my $10 back pretty quickly.]

@MichaelBYou must have Firebug installed to use Flashbug. Once installed, you will see Flashbug as the 'Flash Console' or 'Shared Object' panels.@SumitI am not hosting any source code on Google Code. I'm just using it to manage bugs. Using the comments has been unwiedly becuase people can't tell when a bug has been fixed or not.

I have downloaded and installed flashbug and the debug version of flash player 10. Where do I see the trace statements and errors? The only reference I see to flashbug in firefox is in the tools -> add ons panel. But, where is the output? I'm stumped.
