I'm having trouble with Aroma lately - Norton SONAR is detecting it as a threat and removing it. I doubt there's a way around this with Norton itself - is there anything YOU can do so that I can keep using this? I found Aroma to be a really useful little tool for organizing and storing all of my recipes. I'd hate to not be able to use it again.

gabriel, MasterCook is a very popular format for exporting and importing. Mad's Recipe Emporium has thousands of recipes to import. If you wife enjoys collecting recipes she might find this site interesting. http://www.madsrecipes.com/ Thank you for the quick response.Dave

Sure, do you have a sample recipe for me to look at or a link to the recipe format? I'm not familiar with Mastercook, I made this program for my wife not knowing about other programs.

gabriel, thanks for the excellent program. Just wondering if you would ever consider making it possible to import Mastercook recipes? I love the fact that I am able to use this across all platforms (Windows, Linux and OSX). Please keep updating the program it is great.

I thought about that, but that would mean you would have to know the nutrition info to begin with. And if it's an original recipe where would you get that?

It would be very usefull to create the shopping list of the ingredients of a recipe by chosen the related recipe. For example: I decide make some chocolate muffins, I chose the recipe, then, if I miss chocolate and sugar, I can print a list of these ingredients or all ingredients to take with me when I go for shopping. If I choose several recipes I'd have a list of all ingredients and the sum of the quantity for each.
Thank you!

That's the plan in the future but i haven't messed with Aroma in a while. Maybe I'll get to that feature next. As for the shopping lists, how would you expect that to work? Select a few recipes and it spits out a combined list of ingredients?

Is there any chance that you'll allow people to add pictures to their recipes or create shopping lists?
